The Homeopathic Obstetrics ProjEct – H.O.P E
Obstetrics is an area in which homeopathy—when used expertly—can provide particularly valuable services for the benefit of mothers and every human being born. However, this important work is now rarely performed by (homeopathic) general practitioners, but mainly by midwives and gynecologists. However, knowledge of the literature sources and tools is still predominantly held by general homeopathic experts. We therefore want to make this knowledge available to the current users in a compact form.
In 2010, I began compiling clinical literature (approx. 80 works at the time) on the subject of homeopathic obstetrics, which led to my first (German) book publication in 2019 – Handbuch der homöopathischen Geburtshilfe (Handbook of Homeopathic Obstetrics) – and also to the development of practice software (at the company JREP). This work is now being continued in an expanded and international form as H.O.P E – The Homeopathic Obstetrics ProjEct, together with the German midwife Helga Häusler. This brings together homeopathic source expertise and obstetric experience – from the perspective of both genders. I am very pleased about this and it enriches this work immensely!
The work is now being expanded to include a number of additional indications (lactation and mastitis, mental health issues during the postpartum period, uterine inflammation, etc.) and further specialist publications (approx. 50 additional works). The result will be a comprehensive, specific Materia medica with approximately 300 remedies, a specialists repertory, a collection of clinical notes, and a large collection of case studies on this topic. In addition, all parts will (initially) be translated into English—as the international language of science. Translations into various languages (including German, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) are also planned. In addition, we are also working on the creation of practice software/apps to facilitate modern work.
After completion of the synopsis (summary) on the topic of obstetrics, modern training concepts for homeopathic obstetrics will also be developed.
